I also wanted to add something regarding the love making scene. That scene has been really nicely shot by Sydney Pollack. It's sensual, subtle and very tender too without being indecent or vulgar like sometimes in some nowadays films. Finally, you don't need to show much to feel something. Both actors are very touching and you can tell by Barbra's look how she feels. You feel that Kathy is just overwhelmed by his fantasy WASP represented by Robert Redford dazzingly beautiful in this movie...
I love this film. I watched it several times and each time I like it even more. Barbra is such a good actress especially ih this film. Robert Redford is not only a pretty face, he is wonderful actor, very convincing in his performance maybe one hs greatest performance. You feel something special when you watch this moving movie.
