  • great review,thanks for posting

  • Uhh geez

  • You did a terrific job sharing your insights about this Galco shoulder holster. Thanks for taking the time to do it. My hindsight wish is that you'd would have reviewed a vertical holster instead of the horizontal model.

  • Hell yes nothing says America like a 1911 haha great vid I was looking into getting one of these for my Springfield 1911

  • I have occasionally worn one of these rigs for 20 years and it works fine, HOWEVER...

I have had the thumb break accidentally come unsnapped while carrying and because the holster is horizontal my gun fell out and hit the ground and that is NOT cool.

  • I don't understand what keeps it from moving when you draw. U don't want the rig following the gun as you draw, it should stay stationary. What keeps it from moving?

  • @MichiganZombieHunter Once you get the straps tightened down correctly the rig wont come forward when you draw. If you wear it too loosely then you might have that problem but I get a good draw every time.

  • how dose it adjust for bigger guys like myself

  • @MrGlock55 Just take out the screws and lengthen the straps and put the screws back in. There is a lot of extra length so it should go pretty big.

  • Good video thanks for the input. your information helped me make my decision, should be receiving mine in the mail shortly.

  • I was looking for one of these for my s&w 4506 but it seems on the website they no longer offer it for that model. So i went with a classic lite....as from what i saw on amazon it showed up in the search and looks to be a universal holster. Only thing i dont like is it's suede and only offers one mag pouch

  • Great video. Very helpful. Thanks

  • i have the same rig aqnd the thumb strap is actually supposed to be snapped with the hammer at rest but i guess u can do it both ways

  • Awesome shoulder rig. You can buy the strap screws to retain the extra length of strap. It looks a lot better if you take your jacket off in public. (Open Carry).

  • @DEB0714 I have the screws set all the way up, I'm trying to come up with another way to do it that looks better.

  • Don't think that's a 'thumb hole'. Pretty sure its for a tie down accessory

  • Just a tip to tie up the extra straps use double sided tape. It is not able to be seen and holds better than eletric tape

  • Do you use other types of holsters too...or just the shoulder rig?

  • @TitanTony407 Yes I have others I mostly use this one in the winter or if I am driving a lot

  • @dingo51122 i couldn't find their website, any links? or MSRP on these?

  • @TitanTony407 I got mine from LA police gear.
