It really is true that both of you harmonize so well in fluidity of tone and agility of voice. Glad she likes the Everly Brothers. They recorded an album in 1968 entitled "Roots." On that album Don and Phil sing a medley that includes "The Old Rugged Cross," in a way that could melt your heart. Others favorites are "Illinois" and "Kentucky" and "Shady Grove" and "Mama Tried." Please give your Mom a hug from me!

I believe you stumbled upon us for a REASON...When Me-Maw IRENE died, I told the choir director to sing "Don't forget to Pray." Mama K. was shocked and said, "That was Mother's favorite song." ~ Maw-Maw stood on the word of God and loved people. I hope I have a little of her in me..
