my humble opinion is that the guy that done the original four vocal tracks' version was pretty good. the extra three layers from this other guy was pretty much overkill for me. his voice didn't sit well with the other guy's voice. and he looks like a bit of a tosser. good on him for doing it anyway though.

I think the problem was the vocal quality, as Ex(yadadada) said. It sounds like noise pretty much. The original was missing something (two parts definitely does not cover the range of instruments used). The singing added, though, is not any better, and so it still sounds like just noise. A bit less than I hoped for.
