awww koko was so small and cute and she had a nice routine and my opinion about slevless leos are i dont think you should wear them for an international competition it makes you look cheap
@msms68 So, it's "not cheap" to wear undies with long sleeves? Let them wear what they like. They work their asses off for their arm muscle. Let them show it off if they're comfortable with it. The last thing international athletic competition needs to be about is the fucking outfits.
Yes Elodie was one of my fav gymnast of the 90's! Someone I had High Hopes for! I loved watchin her! At the 94 euros she was on FIRE! There were several French gymnasts that I expected alot from and never was fulfilled...Lussac, Begue, and Canqueteau were all favs of mine with outstanding style and grace!
Yeah I agree...I hate that tank leotard look. I think it looks very unprofessional in competition. I understand for practice, but I don't like the look for finals
when did they start even allowing sleeveless leos? when i was in gymnastics (about a decade ago) there were absolutely no tank leos allowed. one elite broke rules & wore one anyway but it was a huge deal that she wore a sleeveless leo... i totally missed them changing that rule. and btw i do agree - tank leos for workout (esp. during the summer!) but not for competition.
I've actually seen footage of early Olympic champions like Larissa Latynina of the former Soviet Union wearing tank top style leotards-in the 1950's-1960's era.
I like them, actually they look great.. now gymnasts have figures and are older, it looks more grown up... the one that Marianne Petit is wearing looks good....it is the high neck leos that I loathed they were the rage in the 90s, especially now gymnast now have breasts, the one Beth Tweddle is wearing does her no favours...

I also don't like that it is quite low cut, there should be a limit to how low the neck can go on leos. The US has leos with lower necklines and it looks awful!
Ummm, I'm pretty sure that's not Daria Joura.

I like how the commentors seem more positive than those during the Olympic gymnastics competition!

The French gymnast reminds me of a past French gymnast - Elodie Lussac. I always enjoyed Elodie on floor. There is a definite style to their team.
