You never realise the mistake you made when smoking until you start getting these lung problems, this and bronchitis. Difficulty breathing is one of the most horrible states to be in.
It was a little difficult for me to understand some your words (we speak very slowly with drawn-out syllables here in south Alabama), but this is a VERY helpful video. I plan to share it with a dear family member. I hope it will help her: to see the characteristics you described for us in her own x-rays; perhaps convince her that she does indeed have emphysema as her doctors have said; and hopefully convince her to stop smoking. Thank you!
Very inmformative presentation! It's nice when somet6ime takes the time to explain what really goes on with this disease. I've been quit since April this year after aq nearly deadly bought of pneumonia and MRSA got ahold of me.I decided it was me or the cigarettes. It's not easy at all, but I've got a lot of living to do, Lord willing!
Muhammad Aziz, a Kurdish victim of 1988 Gas attack of the city of Halabja, Iraq,He has 100% disability due to his severe chronic lung disease,He is in an urgent need of medical treatment because of injuries to his respiratory system. due to the inhalation of chemical gases during the bombardment of Halabja on march 16 1988 He is a candidate for lung transplant but the waiting list is long and it may become too late for him when one is ready because of the fast deterioration of his lungs
As an RT(R), some of the details you mention in your readings remind me even more so of the importance in attention to detail to position patients precisely for imaging. Thank you so much for sharing!
im a newly graduated respiratory therapist ur video really reminds me of my x-ray lecture at school i think it is a very nice of you to take time to share your knowledge with everyone in med field... plz keep it up .it does help indeed thank you God bless you.
Im currently studying for my USMLE boards and I find it hard to look at an Xray and immediately know what I am loooking at. you're video are awesome and has increased my confidence in reading the most important high yield lung disease on CXR.
I was smoking a few years back. started having problems breathing spitting up acid. now the acid has swelled my throat on and off. also have trouble breathing. get out of breath from the simplest things such as urinating ( I kid you not ) has been a nightmare. have read about the symptoms of Emphysema . I may very likely have it
I am a nursing student and your videos really help in putting a "face to a name." It's one thing to read about it and another to actually see what it looks like. The depth of your explanations are wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.

It was very helpful. It provided information I did not receive from my class lecture. It was direct and clean, and aided in my understanding.
