@jenksmaster .. I think you are right ... becasue we got another puppy and this little dude succesfuly trained the puppy to be mean.. but then we cannot get rid of him .. he is a cool dog ... my son actually nick named him " mini-hippo" because he looks like one from being a little bit FAT ..

My Chihuahua does the EXACT same thing when i give him a cookie or a bone. He actually looks nearly exactly like yours I suspect he has some Pinscher in him too. It's disturbing but funny too. They just do it to "protect" their food, they think you might want to steal it back. thanks for posting this.
