Hi there, It would work how it is... but change the shocks would be your best option yeah to increase its bumpy handling for a slightly smoother ride which will increase handleing alot. i would say that the blue alloy swinging arms are just for the look though some you can ajust the toe-in settings of the handling... complex

Hey mate. Rated vid 5 stars. Seriously fast for the tt-01. I have a tt-01d. I have a question. Did you just buy the 9t ezrun off ebay and did it just go stright into the tt-01 without any other mods? I have a tt-01d with alloy shaft and was looking at something like "eZRun V2 9T 4300kv Brushless Motor 35A ESC 1/10 Car RC" on ebay. Do you think that will work? Ok, this is what i did... i bought the ezru system off ebay from hong knog... thats what your thiking right? Well i had no trouble it came 1 day early. You need an alloy prop shaft, I already had 1 too but I found after a few runs it was melting and shredding the plactic bearings!!!! So i got some metal bearing of i think it was 16 18??? off ebay too for about £5... it increases speed and battery life as there is less friction... other than that, that should be the only mod i would do for now!

Already have the TT-01d with alloy shaft and already came with full ball bearing so should be sweet. Thank you for your reply and will definately let you know how I go with it. Cheers.
hey, yh i just use 6 cell NIMH 3200 batterys but it should say in the instructions with it in the set up... I think you can use 3cell lipo batterys... just check to be sure
yer i no i can. i was wondering i go to set up it with just a 7v nimh batt and i plug it in and the esc goes green but i cant do anything so i clip my specy dx3s into reverse and it goes red and the motor starts throubing like to a beat what i am i doing wrong?
Have you set it up with the tuning card and callubrated your radio gear with the ESC... you need to press set, leave it i nutrul, press again and put it in full throttle and finaly pres it again and put it into maximum reverse.. befor you try this cheak instructions.... befor you try that i think you might need to disconnect the motors connectors...
5/5- NIce tt-01's ----- Its really fast but my MAmba Max is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy fasterrr (no offence)-- I was screaming when i saw the brushless motor in the un-hopped up tt-01 when u have a hopped up one!!!!-- You should swich the electronics around.... I still haven't put up a video of my cabon ta05 brushless but i will do soon........................... anyway-- nice rc cars and a great video!
cheers... i have a reedy stockstar 27t motor in the hopped up one at the moment quite fast... almost as fast as the brushless but like i said before.. theyre only cheeps thease ezrun systems lol Love to see this tamiya TA05!!!! thanks again!!!
