i feel bad for her, i have this on tonight,we always watch it my friend thinking how she has everything going for her.but yet she was"lure back to this guy"he look like,and was a complete filthy no good mooch low life a complete"wanna be"

was paul snyder. i wish her boyfriend the nice man she met after Paul protect her by keepin'her away from this loser,but i know....easier said then dad. i am sure she thought"ok i will make it quick" in and out"end it for good.but ended up dead.

i think this is one of worse films(meaning saddest ever made)IMO.

ever in hollywood,ever told of a true to life story.Poor girl.However there are always signs, your goin'to have to see them before it come to this,like why did dorothy stratten go back to see this complete lunatic 1 more time. that is a no no. even to just say goodbye,such a fatal mistake,the rape scene at the end omg too hard to watch at times,for many,just beyond tragic,rip dorothy.

It was so bad for her that at one point she tried to commit suicide only to have Holmes force her to survive and continue. Read her book for a tale that may well stay with you for life.

I think I saw him for the first time on screen 25yrs ago.... and I was ...wow he's so hot!! He really is a MAN.... even when he plays the bad guy with women....he looks sexy! I love his hair and he's got such beautiful eyes. He had a very bad accident and he seems to be the reason why his carreer never really explosed! But no matters what He is a big Hollywood Star and one of the most handsome men ever. I definetely agree ...He is ten times more beautiful and talented than his sister!!!

@FLYESTER11 you are absolutely correct..eric roberts was involved in a serious car accident..it fractured his face and nose..and knocked out several of his teeth..he underwent reconstructive surgery to basically put his face back together. but he looked so different before the accident..he did a film as a young man and you can see how much he and his sister looked alike..cant remember the title exactly,,sumthin like 'band of gypsy's'..the gypsy's..or sumthin close to that.

I agree with Mickey Rourke in his acceptance speech when he talked about Eric Roberts. Roberts is MILES ahead of his sister in talent and sheer good looks..for that matter he is miles ahead of most of the actors that are fawned over by Hollywood and the press. Hollywood is F***KING NUTS not to have given him MULTIPLE awards in recognition of his OUTSTANDING body of work already ( "Star 80", "The Pope Of Greenwich Village", "Runaway Train", "The Coca Cola Kid", "King Of The Gypsies", etc.) .

Just a totally jaw dropping performance in Star80...pure fire. I was lucky to see Star 80 on TV in recent months (by chance ) and I was completely blown away by his role as Paul Snider...he was so ******* awesome that I felt my emotions being pulled or over the place by his portrayal (for me that happens very rarely). In a word...stunning!

How

1) did he not win the Oscar or whatever?

2) did he not go no to be one of the best actors of his generation?

I checked IMDB and it seems that in the last fifteen years he's starred in such excellent blockbusters as "Contamination", "The Cookie Theif", "Blizhiny Boy", "8 of Diamonds" and a host of cameos on television. These films are far and away superior in star power to The Pope of Greenwich Village and Star80. That's why it's confusing that Mickey Rourke said "I don't know why in the last fifteen years ain't no one given him the chance to show his shit again."

I don't know what you are talking about, Eric Roberts is a Major Hollywood star. He is just as talented and I think more talented then Juila, don't get me wrong Juila is a great actress too.
