  • i reeally want to know who sings this verson. its beautiful vocals.

  • There was no such thing as a sentence of death passed by the Druid's Brehon Laws in the courts of law, no matter what the crime was: it was always based on compensation; the Druid's Brehon Laws was in the business to determine the amount for the crime, (Capital Punishment) was practised, outside the courts of law. The Elected Druid High King from its Royal Clan could claimed the right to put persons to death for certain crimes.

  • Is the lyric, Aye-yeh?

I've been studying the elemental calls of the Hermetic tradition, and I've learned that the Earth is A, Air: E, Fire: I, and Water: O

So it would make sense if it was Ah as in Saw, Ay as in Say, Aye as in Sigh, and Oh as in So?

I'm still learning, but this would clarify my understanding of the elemental calls.

  • Its something thats amazing how big a come back the Celts are coming back. Like a sleeping giant that has been sleeping for a very long slumber rather than being destroyed as the Romans that they had done. I mean we wouldn't be talking about them and listening to this song if it wasn't experiencing a come back.

  • @hannigan06

This song has nothing to do with Celts... Its English language, the concepts (fire, water, air and earth as a group) come from the Middle East (elements are grouped in a totally different way in Celtic cosmology). The type of singing isn't even Celtic.

  • great Cernunnos some good music and images some I had not seen before ! Well done .

  • Standing stones have nothing to do with "The Celts" they were erected by my ancestors, my DNA says i'm descended from the indigenous people of Britain, who crossed the land-bridge from mainland Europe about 5'000 years before the celts came out of Asia.

  • @hetrodoxly There is no evidence the people we call ''Celtic'' came out of Asia. The historical Celts were known as the Keltoi by the Greeks, the Romans refered to them as the Galli, and according to the Romans, they called themselves Celtae. There were no invasions of ''Celts'' into Britain. The Brittonic and Pictish tribes adopted La Tene culture (sometimes called Celtic culture by mistake) which was spread by influence through central Europe rather than migration.

  • @PaganWarrior100

There's a mass of evidence, the celts came out of Asia and settled along the Danube, as did the Germanic's, well they're one and the same really.

  • @hetrodoxly Indo-Europeans spread from Asia long before the ''Celtic'' and Germanic tribes came into existence. Remember that during the last great Ice Age, there were three areas were Europeans concenrated on settling, there was the Basque region in particular, the Balkans, and the Caucasus. Proto-Celtic and proto-Germanic speaking people had settled in many areas of Europe before the stone circles were built. I think you're reading out of date history books.

  • @PaganWarrior100 isn't this the theory that we mutated off the indo-european albino's? and it's not a strong theory. Otherwise you are correct as far as i know and history is only a hobby so my knowledge is not extensive. (ps. great debate)

  • @youbriggs

Indo-European theory is the most strongly supported theory in linguistics and it has nothing to do with "albinos."

  • @Ambiduros yeah well wrong theory mate try the anthropology one. Cause it has A LOT to do with albino's
