  • This is not a Chinese Folk Dance nor Korean Folk Dance, This is western Ballet Dance.

    But, the music is nice.

  • regardless of the comments here, this dance is NOT a chinese folk dance. i do agree this is not an attack against Chinese culture, and perhaps they are respecting Korean culture but just because there is a minority of Koreans in China and you guys are trying to mimic a traditional Korean dance, in no way makes it a Chinese folk dance/song. In America, several cultures dances and songs are reproduced by Americans and Americans would NEVER call it an American folk dance. Be politically correct plz

  • ummm.....isn't "阿里郎" supposedly Korean? or this is the Chinese translation of Korean traditional song?

  • yay go dance teacher! lets just forget about the politics and enjoy this art form....people....geeZ. cant stop fighting.

  • get over yourself and learn how to spell.

  • If you want to further embarrass your fellow Koreans, keep up your rant. If you want to further incite others, keep up your rant. if you want to be Exhibit 1 for xenophobia and ethnocentricism, keep up your rant.

Your woeful lack of intelligence warrants no other reply.

  • Seaneastbrow, your intolerance, bigotry and stupidity give Koreans a bad name.

  • aHA.KOREAN WANKING TOO MUCH AND STILL NEED aMERCIA CUNT PROTECTION..SHAME..WAT BOUT KICK OUT AMRICA OUT UR LAND FIRST THEN YELLING OUT KOREAN POWER U DUMBSHIT

  • seaneastbow, you are so narrow minded.

  • how the heck are we attacking korean culture here?!?! that happens to be my dance teacher, who happens to be chinese. she's the dancer expressing the emotion so apparentally she respects and understands korean culture.

  • Before you become rabid, get your facts straight.

There is a significant ethnic Korean population in northern China. As a result, Arirang and traditional Korean culture are well familiar to the Chinese. This familiarity is a show of respect and toleration, not some "attack".

The dance was danced by Chinese, choreographed by Chinese and broadcast in China.

Too bad that respect is not reciprocated by the likes of you.

Ignorance is not pathetic. Ignorance of your own ignorance is.

  • As pretty as it is, are you sure it's Chinese, I am Chinese, and I know that outfit looks Korean. Or do you mean, the Chinese-Korean ethnicity group? It's really awesome though. ^-^

  • LOL the first part kind of freaked me out 'cause I had no idea what she was doing . . . but I get it now :)
