Thank you @simon01ize. My apologies, yet still doesn't change how I feel. My mother use to call me all the time saying she wanted to die;telling her it was a pathetic permanent choice to end temporary pain stopped her. Hopefully it'll makes others think, too. We can feed our depression or starve it. I choose to starve it. You have no idea what I've been through, and likewise, i have no idea what you've been through. It takes more guts to live through hell then to plummit yourself there. I had a very close friend of mine commit suicide and my friend's dad so it does touch close to home for me. I love them dearly and pray for them, but in my view, they copped out. It doesn't take guts to die, it takes guts to live. Life's a bitch "and then you die" - not "until you kill yourself". Even in our darkest hour, we are not alone. Good times are temporary, but the good news is, so are the bad.

there are many different circumstances in life

i have a good friend that also experiences dark even suicidal moods - but for her the good times take the upper hand and she lives

for me, the other way around - so i am searching for ways to cure myself so that i will be able to live and see things her way too - or your way

but it does take a certain mental state to see things as you do

and sometimes, when not possible to heal, it's best to end life respectfully than suffer

ive thought about suicide a few times, but the only reason im still around is because of (like the other comments say) its the affect on other people it will have. that and i got over the problems at what i felt was the right time, after setting myself on fire which really brought me back to reality. bottom line, life, no matter how much it hurts is worth living, its the stuff that pushes you to the edge that makes you a better person.

billie holiday still has the best version.. but this is very very good compared to some of the others i've heard. You have to sing with emotion and a lot of it to pull this song off and a lot of singers you don't hear the emotion, or sense of pain in the voice.. that sound of pain makes it a beautiful thing in a weird twisted way.
