@Chastrie Another explanation might be that "Moon Over...." such as in "Moon Over Miami" had been used before in titles to suggest a sort of romantic theme, as in a couple kissing by moonlight. I think it's used ironically here, as Marin County (across the bay from SF) was/is notorious for its Yuppie/limousine liberal reputation. The "glimmering moonlight sheen upon the waves and water" is because of an oil spill in the song - far from a romantic scenario.

I know Bad Religion(not comparing the two bands' styles, they're very different of course.) had bonus tracks that were included in albums made to be specifically released exclusively overseas(outside America). It could be I'm just not recalling hearing it; I've done a lot of drugs(I don't any more though, not even alcohol.)

@cpHiJet It's about rich people hoarding the public shoreline only to ruin it by polluting it. Marin was particularly known for it's pollution, hence the beginning of the video with the "Sloat Street" sign. Hope that helped.

I love this song. Kind of shocking for me though when they showed the Exxon Valdese ship. The Exxon Valdese was in dry dock next to our ship in San Diego. They towed it from Alaska to San Diego. The hole was big enough to drive a bug through it and it only had one hull. Talk about drunk driving!

The lawsuits filed against Exxon on behalf of the fisherman and other people in the area that depended on the ocean took TWENTY YEARS to settle. Exxon didnt start paying out until 2008. And the amounts didnt nearly make up for the loss of income for these people. Something the Gulf citizens need to be ready for.

Seems like Jello was way ahead for his time when he wrote this song and they made the video for it. And thanks to BP we all get to see this video in real life when we visit the Gulf of Mexico nowadays. @DinningBrian I made the video, but I understand what you are saying :) It's pretty disgusting that this continues to happen with alarming regularity and the companies seem to escape without any real accountability and are not forced to have any efficient emergency actions in place when it does happen. The footage at 1:58 where the guy is digging the stones up is years after the spill that contaminated it, it really shows you the effort they put in to cleaning up...15%. Disgusting isn't it.
