I only just starting reading the Ruruoni Kenshin manga not too long ago. Is the anime any good? I can definitely tell the music is great already by your playing SneekieSnake :3

@Bespinben It's a good anime - for its time. While mostly comedic - Kenshin's obfuscating stupidity act is taken up a whole magnitude - it also has some good action scenes. Avoid the third season - it's all filler. Otherwise the anime is quite faithful to the manga. In my opinion, the sub is superior to the English dub.

I highly recommend watching the first OVA: Rurouni Kenshin - Tsuiokuhen, alternatively known as Samurai X - Memories. It contains spoilers for the Jinchuu arc.
