The PC Engine Super CD-ROM 2 actually did come to America. Here it was called the TurboGrafx 16 Super CD-ROM

Who ADV or Victor Entertainment (the people who made the OVA)? I heard that Dragon Half bombed in Japan so they never finished it, I even heard that ADV tried to help them finish the OVA but it never materialized.

I really liked the dubbing too, but at least the manga has been scanlated.

I'm not sure. I commented one a something from dragon half once, and get into a conversation with another person I think last year... But they where explaining it well. Some it I'm unsure. D: Memory sucks.

Well the manga hasn't been released in English officially, but fans have translated it, look it up! I haven't finished it yet (reading manga on my comp is hard), but its great if not better!

Actually I think that is true about it sucking in Japan. I read about it before and I saw the anime and I asked myself "Wtf is wrong with people!? This anime is awesome!" I like the art style..

the anime seem like a big add for the manga, if you wont to continue, you'll have to read it, plus they left so much stuff out in the anime.

Actually the PC-Engine was released in America, it's called the TurboGrafX over here. There's no region lock-out on CD games so you can play this on an American TurboDuo actually.

Furthermore though, this is actually a spin-off of another Dragon Half game for the FM-Towns Marty (Now THERE'S a system that never came to America!).

Because they only bothered to put the first two volumes of the manga into animation. The manga itself extends to over a dozen more episodes.
