I own a 2007.5 RAM 2500 Crew Cab 4x4 Cummins and I am ready to buy a new truck. I wish Dodge would catch up to the towing capacity of latest Chevy / GMC, & Ford. Is Diesel Power Magazine, Chevy came out on top. But I am Cummins purist through and through and will wait for Dodge to catch up...

When the truck will pull a heavy load, it will helps to have stability from rear suspention, and it will keep the truck balanced. Have you ever seen a truck towing a big trailer ? The rear of the truck is always lower than the front of the truck because of the weight of the load. The air suspention will help to keep truck suspetion at the same level. It will also help to have a better stability with an heavy load.

@Challenger331 thank you, i like to learn, i am in a wheelchar but they made lifts that take out the front truck seat an then put in a compact wheelchair lift on the side then hand controls, my dream truck is a truck is a wheelchair accesable 2500 cummins like this

@Ryd3r22 thats what I told you ;) the truck is on 20" wheels. Normal summer tires are 31 inches big. Off road tires are between 34-36 inches big wth 20" wheels.

@RaptorRider31 This truck only has a leveling kit, which is 2.5 inches in front, 1 inch rear. On a 1500 truck, there is enough space with a leveling kit for 35" tires. On a 3500 like this one 37" tires or more. I own a Ram 1500 and I got information in a Dodge dealer that a leveling kit for my truck is ~ 800bucks. I don't think that there is a big price difference between a 1500 and 3500 trucks. Hope it anwsered your question !

All 2500 trucks comes with 17 inches wheels. They all come with LT265/70R17E tires, except for the Dodge Ram 2500 power wagon which comes with LT285/70R17D tires. it's about 30-31 inches big for the tires.

1500 Trucks is different. ST ,SXT, SLT, TRX-4 models come with 17 inches wheels stock, with P265/70R17 or LT275/70R17 tires, which are about 30 inches big. Finally, sport and laramie's truck comes with 20 inches wheels with P275/60R20 Tires, which are about 31 inches big.

@RyderMultimedia On a 2500 Dodge ram , this setup is about 3-5 inches taller than a normal truck. Sorry we are not talking with feet yet ! You must know that 2500 truck are high even stock. On a 1500 truck, a leveling kit will give between 2 and 5 inches high, depend wich one you buy. Yes the truck is suppose to be able to pull 5th wheels like camper and others, BUT if you buy this kind of modification, ask to the seller if the kit he is selling is good for that because some are not !

@Ryd3r22 A MOPAR leveling kit would cost about 800-900$. For the air suspension, I don't know how much because I don't need one yet on my truck. @Ryd3r22 Thanks alot ! I changed the front grill, now it's a chrome one instead of the black. Gonna pu some pictures soon ! On my truck ( SLT ) you can't have an double exhaust line. I added this one with Chrysler bumper. the line is a magnaflow one, it sounds so much amazing !
