@MEGAINDIEROCK ME2 is good but I highly recommend ME1 and play through them in chronological order. It makes for a truly epic saga. ME1 is rough and unpolished in areas in terms of gameplay and graphics but it's story is the best of the three in my opinion.
Agree with the other guy, ME1 might seem date at first but it's worth sticking with. Mass effect 2 is probably my favourite game of all time. ME3 is incredible, but it's ending leaves a lot to be desired

The advertisers simply paid for the rights to use that music in their trailers.

@SCARZR I was actually talking about the trailer, not the game itself, the game wasn't released when I made that comment. But I agree, Mass Effect 3 was amazing, if a bit rushed until the last crappy 15 minutes of the game.
3 Reasons why this trailer is better than ME3's Launch One.
1. Martin Sheens narration and lines are alot better then the ones of Shepards in ME3 (nothing against Mark Meer but Martin has like the best voice .. ever)
2. The music here is amazing, like the one in ME3 but it's not close to this.

Playing as Joker... watching my crew get grabbed, especially poor Yeoman Kelly, and then watching Kelly die, and watching Tali almost fall, three of the most dramatic moments in my entire video gaming career.
Honestly I play allot of games, and i have to admit that mass effect is my all time favorite, it has everything, the story, the gameplay, the action, the romance, the characters just everything.
Some people won't call it a RPG because they think its more like playable movie, but i don't care which genre it is, it is clearly one of the best game ever made, and for me its the best game ever made.

You know what is amazing?
This stuff is most likely happening in some part of our galaxy. We are just a small dot in a vast universe. We are hidden behind nebulas,asteroid belts and other planets. An oasis of life but also of death. It's time we start to look to the stars as a new home. We have the technology to build colonies on Luna and Mars but the governments would rather waste that money and resources on pointless wars and religious crusades.
So we wait and die or expand. Our choice.

There is no other game out there that has me so emotionally attached. Shaping my own personal story in part 1 and watching those choices impact story and characters in part 2 is incredible, I can't wait to see the impact my choices have in part 3

@Rhtrucking9 Because the Mass Effect 3 launch trailer isn't out. Also, consider that a lot of Mass Effect 3 footage would contain spoilers, so they can't show a lot.
By the time March rolls around, I'm sure there will be another epic trailer to give us gaming-induced boners.

Honestly I play allot of games, and i have to admit that mass effect is my all time favorite, it has everything, the story, the gameplay, the action, the romance, the characters just everything.
Some people won't call it a RPG because they think its more like playable movie, but i don't care which genre it is, it is clearly one of the best game ever made, and for me its the best game ever made.
Can't wait for the 3rd game!

There's a difference between responding to somebody that has picked a fight with you and picking the fight in the first place. One thing you'll learn when you grow up a bit is that the majority of people will argue back when you come guns blazing the way you did. It shouldn't surprise you.

As a general statement, people that start off with verbal attacks, as you did, aren't people you're going to be able to talk through something with, or reason with. They/you want to fight. That's why your initial post was so aggressive.
