@triniranger91 yeah! i love this netbook because the battery lasts like 6 hours or so and its really easy to carry around like when i go to the mall or mcdonalds and also it has just about everything a normal laptop would have, BUT there is one bad thing, if you get it with windows 7 starter you cant change the wallpaper, but that doesnt really bother me actually

Hey my acer laptop is breaking and i need to get another one. I only use it for the interent like facebook and youtube, no itunes, games etc. So my question is should i get this netbook or spend $150 more to get a laptop? (Oh and i will probably be using aim and video chatting if that makes a difference) and is the internet on this slower than on a laptop? Thanks

well both are about the same, no joke, I've used both laptop and netbook, and i prefer netbook, for sheer mobility and battery life, the only thing that is missing is a cd rom, but i dont miss it, flash drives ftw :p

For college I'd recommend a laptop, they're generally more powerful.

But if you're only going to be using stuff like Word and so forth, a netbook will do you just fine.
