@011001 I didn't do nothing special, may be your image lacks of some mouse and keyboard drivers. No matter what image I used always mouse and keyboard worked.
@hasany89 May i ask what Revision your Beagleboard is?
Mine is Rev C.
The images i've used boot into a grafical environmet, so it would puzzle me if they had no drivers for mouse and keyboard installed as they rely on them.
@011001 Mine vas BB xM rev. B00 I guess. Ubuntu images contain mouse and keyboard drivers. Make sure your keyboard and mouse doesn't use special driver (imho not probable). Try to connect your usb devices with USB hub(the ones that powered externally), and connect hub to bb via BB's mini usb.
Could you please tell us about beagleboards xM performance when running ububtu? Is it work correctly? Is it running slow? Any crashes, lags? Is it difficult to set up? Seems to be awsome! Very nice work
@eNeRGySers@Jan 21, 2011 it was somewhat slow. bb has 600 mhz processor don't expect much performance. You can do lots of things with it but if you need performance try Angstrom Linux it is more faster.
@hasany89 I thought Beagleboard xM has an ARM Cortex A8 processor at 1 GHz. Anyway, try android, they must be fast enough at 600 MHz. Thanks for the quick reply.
I assume Arch will run better

Hi,
did you do anything special to get the mouse and keyboard working?
I tried to setup my Beagleboard xm with natty and oneiric beta1 but my mouse and keaboard never worked.
I tried plugging them in different ports and plugging them in after Ubuntu has finished booting like in your video but it made no difference.
With the shipped Angström Linux, mouse and keyboard worked, though.

Yeah you are right xM has an A8 1ghz processor. xM is better than C4 series with ubuntu.
