I liked your video about stick fighting techniques, I wanted to invited you to come watch my stick fighting music videos that I believe you will enjoy, you can also hotlink anywhere you wish, let me know what you thought of it too.
Mabuhay Ang Pinoy Arnis!!! Congratulations to Kim for her Arnis performances. She has the soul of Mandirigma. The Soul of Arnis/Kali/Eskrima!!! Mabuahy Kaibigan!!!
She's really good, however, she still has alot of room for emprovement... anyway... no one's perfect and I'm proud to see how great her skills are... she makes me feel proud. keep up the god work
I loved her agressive style. "Dont even let the opponent breath" is something that some girls forget when they fight, but Kim used that perfectly. Keep up the PERFECT work.
@RebornAc3 "In the streets" as you say, I don't think she would disarm the opponents with care. In a dojo, the most valuable asset are the sparing partners, we take great care of them.
Congratulations to Kim & thank you for sharing the video online.
Respectfully, I believe it would be best to explore other arnis training systems in Washington as Lizelle Hufana (HTAI- Bellevue) would probably be (1) a higher ranked arnis practitioner and (2) superior in both skill, technique, & fighting/sparring.
@suomynona1 Thanks for your comments. Kim is in Western Australia, not the US, and is currently pursuing a fight career in women's Muay Thai. Later in the year we have international instructors in kali sikaran and arnis visiting our clubs. Stay tuned for more. Train safe.
Great, I would like to see more women taking an interest in martial arts. Some people think it's only for men but it's really not. It's for anyone who wants to get stronger.
I've learned to work with eskrima sticks and I can do most of that stuff. One of my favorite things to do with the sticks is rodunda (when you spin the sticks like she is at 2:30)
Great Work! One piece of advice however...in my training we are never allowed to hand a weapon back to our partner. You don't want to form a habit. They got disarmed...let them pick it up. The last thing you want is to do that in a real fight by accident.
yes...she has the potentials but then, their were stunts that were not properly executed....also in handling the sticks it should be 2 inches from its tip...
...nice one...keep it up girl......its what we called girl power.......that's it.
The term Eskrima is the Filipino spelling which comes from the Spanish word esgrima, "fencing". Arnis is thought to derive from the phrase arnés de mano, Spanish for "harness of the hand". The name Kali some suggest it is related to the traditional weapon called a kris, keris or kalis. So basically they are all of a similar nature, it really depends on the practitioners understanding of FMA & his ability to be able to teach the transition between the stick, sword, dagger & hand.
arnis and kali, both came from the philippines., eskrima is other term form fencing that came from spain......, arnis is long stick and kali is short stick
Got to love it when a woman can kick your ass.

0:49 no one is gonna stop for you to turn back in street fights. You'd go straight to hospital.
