When I first listened to the songs on this album, I was like meh and I went back to listening the old coldplay classics until I decided to hear the tracks again..that is when the songs grew on me. Now, everyday I listen to Hurts like heaven, charlie brown and paradise which are my favorite from the album. All I can say is you need to listen to this album twice before you can feel the magic.

Just isn't the Coldplay I knew back in the Parachutes times.... :(

I like some of MX, UFO and Us Against The World but the rest of the album is just isn't what I expected. When Viva La Vida came out it was different than any other albums but I still loved it, sadly, it isn't like that with with MX... It's too much synth and unnecessary tracks (M.M.I.X, Mylo Xyloto) Don't get me wrong! Its a good album, but isn't GREAT like the others But I am not gonna stop liking them because of 1 okay album.

@CPSHOWTV It happens with many artists, I definitely feel ya. I was a huge fan of Linkin Park. To me their first two albums were nothing but brilliant. Artists do what they like and what gives them goosebumps even though if it's different from before. Some get better, some get bad and some stay pretty cool yet different, like Coldplay to me but I guess I feel the same way you do with my bands.
