Nice job! I like the tone... the way you play in "pieces" reminds me of Clapton. Much potential - learn from the greats but know that it's not important nor is it a worthy goal to play just like your heroes; You are on the right track with this...no effects to hide behind...haha!
nice job but one can tell you are a straight beginner try to move away from that. my advice is to always make things your own. work on your bends mainly and also your vibrato
who realy gives a damn what one is wearing, you fail to acknowledge the fact and the sacrifice & time it takes to learn something so timeless..."fashion hollywood freaks"
Yah, so does/did Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, Peter Green, Mike Bloomfield, Duane Allman, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmie Vaughan, Roy Buchanan, Mick Taylor, Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher, Coco Montoya, Walter Trout, Jeff Healey, Derek Trucks, Tinsley Ellis, George Thorogood...and so on.
URRRG whats with people playing this song with the tone knob down??? it sounds soo much better with it up. you need way more treble and gain for this, you have a strat so you shouldnt have a probem doing this (unless thats a bass amp)
bb king...wrote this song...and plays it better. dont get me wrong you did great! and so did hendrix i just like the king version. Im not hating...nice ass cover man!
You do what alot of fast guitar players miss --- You know how to hit the blue notes! It can be subtle but thats what makes a great blues solo. And thats why you will be a really good guitar player. You have the basics down cold.
oh yeah son you got some skills , its nice not hearing this song ruined by shredding.just some suggestions , try some different picking techniques or try to imagine yourself playing percussion as well as the guitar ,it will really help you get some emphasis on your sweet licks.keep it up.
This is wicked mate, with no backing too. It's what I really want to try and achieve but on an acoustic - it's possible with slinky strings. Try and do that - it would be well cool.

I like your tone. It's a very honest and true tone. Some of Jimi's live versions had a very simular tone until he stepped in overdrive.
