@PSspecialist I've actually seen it done. They included the challenge again in MM10, but they also included an Easy difficulty setting to make the challenge actually possible for normal players.

I kinda agree with you there, except I don't necessarily hate the 8bit revival as much as you..haha.

I think that they can make as many 8bit Mega Man sequels as they want, but at the same time make something to appeal to the other half of the Mega Man fans. The ones who actually care about the story and continuity.

So yes, Mega Man X9 would be great.

But Mega Man Zero 5? Come on now, Zero 4 ended just fine with Zero's final sacrifice.

@MiDSinister actually, megaman ZX is the sequel to the megaman zero series. it's set 200 years after megaman zero 4 (or in other terms: 300 years after the megaman X series and 400 years after the classic megaman series.

In other words, MM9 doesn't take place before MM8. Just the numbering gives it away :P
