My Dad was at Sgt. Sanchez's procession this morning in Florida when I called him. Sgt. Sanchez will never be forgotten. He is a true American Hero and Patriot. It is because of people like him that I am proud to be an American. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.
As the soldier stopped at the pearly gates of Heaven he came to attention, saluted and said, another American soldier reporting for duty sir. I met your cousin on Southwest # 393 today. She shared your story with me. You have honored your country and your family by your service. You volunteered when others did not. As a proud American citizen, I say "Thank you". In Yiddish, we call you a "mensch", a person of integrity and honor.
