The Mercury Program is very similar to Maserati and in fact the two bands came together and worked on an EP. Tristeza is another band with a similar sound.

@FcoManzoo Pelican is sort of similar (heavier post rock type stuff)... although, their drummer pales in comparison to Jerry.

The quality of the recording in this video is absolutley brilliant. The music is amazing. And the beats Jerry Fuchs is creating are so awesome I just smile everytime I see him crossing his arms to rattle his toms. I don't know if I have ever been so let down to have never seen them live. I feel like I missed out on something special.

Splendid drumming: hard-hitting, yet subtle at the same time....razor sharp, faultless precision, & unostentatious to the last.
Such was his talent, he had the effect of making the surrounding musicians sound like they were merely adding embellishments to the main ingredient: his beats!

Goddamn! Jerry was such a beast on drums! The only time I've seen drumming that intense was maybe Mike Portnoy or John Bonham. God rest your soul Jerry, your skill will never be replaced with the guys again.
