Yeah, I just watched it, and you are not playing it wrong. The only difference that I can notice between the way you and I play it is the D in the chorus. Whatever, still a D. The mic needs to be closer. Try placing it 5-6 inches from and pointing to the 12 fret. Then angle it to the sound hole and try that. Good luck and happy easter!
