It's a movie about a girl who has a step-mom thinks is evil. This girl, Sarah, loves fairytales and stories. Her favorite story is one called The Labyrinth. She is 'forced' to baby-sit her little baby half-brother, Toby, whom she dislikes because he gets most of the attention. Toby cries a lot, and Sarah threatens him that she'll tell the goblins to come and take him away. She finally does, not really believing that anything will happen. (continued...)

Actually, in the movie, it never really says for sure, but Jareth may have, indeed, been in love with Sarah (at least, that's what I like to believe.), but Sarah was never in love with him.
