  • Lovely video. Fernando was great.

  • Thank you! He was a very interesting character! Some of the reviews I've read of his starring role opposite Ethel Merman on Broadway are pretty lurid! Apparently, the comments had to do with his disdain for the use of undergarments while on stage!

  • Great to hear a fine duet between two Latinos way before their film box office . appeal to the great Americano public!

  • Just my opinion, but Mr. Lamas really had a very respectable voice! To my knowledge he was never "dubbed" by another. As always, wonderful to hear from you!

  • I agree...He has a nice bass-baritone voice. I'll bet he would have made a good Emil De Becque in "South Pacific"... He actually appeared in a musical, "Happy Hunting", with Ethel Merman on Broadway and was nominated for the Tony award for Best Actor in a musical...Don't know if he won though..

  • CHAMING !!! Entertaining !! Thanks so much

  • Glad you liked this! It's a little silly, but that was MGM back in the day. They could play any way they wanted with "content!" Happy New Year!!
