But doing this trick to humans wouldn't work, as you'd start to go brain dead without oxygen after just 5 minutes.
Also I might add that the dog didn't return to normal state. It is no longer able to age. Finally, the soviet union only revived 1 dog, which was dead for 10 minutes, it was male and its body was no longer able to do many of the function normal dogs do.. such as, digestion, defecation, and vocal bursts...

@mahem46 evolution has brought us to care for dogs more because, in the early days, they hunted with us, to kill cows pigs and chickens, and that is why most dont care for those domestic animals, is because we have been eating them for ages.

Someone said why we can't do this to humans in car crashes. We do do this to humans it's called blood transfusion and it's done a lot of times. That's why people give blood. The reseon you would have trouble doing this on someone in a car crash is it's not the lose of blood that killed them but damage to the organs but we replace organs these days as well. The problem comes when someone is brain dead, no matter what we do we can't replace a dead brain... Yet!

Okay i didnt really like the way the killed the dog themselves , but i was actually quite pleased with the result.
The managed to find a successful way to bring dead dogs back to life .
I know it sounds cruel now but why not do it with humans , i mean those who die in like a car accident take the corpse and bring it back , it wouldn't be a zombie it would just be a normal human .

What biologists can't understand is the psychic efect on the animal. They dont know if the dog has any psycic problems or even be a scizophrenic itself. The parts of the body might work perfectly but you don't know what permanent problems may have been generated and are related to its brain.

This is a marvel of medical science. The experiments conducted here greatly expanded on our knowledge of reviving humans. Suffering on the part of the individual animals needs to be weighed against the benefits of this important knowledge. It was "worth it" to understand and reaffirm what measures need to be taken to revive someone who has just died on the table in an operating room.

@Shankuverymuch The only time they completely severed the head was when they had that head sitting on the table. When they revived the 'dead' dog they just drained its blood until it was hypovolemic.
