@imsoflyyeah They are laughing because they feel relieved after the panda wasn't hurt. Pandas feel more relaxed and happy in the zoo even if it was a small place. In the natural world a panda would fear going beyond so they would cover about 1 acre to live in but if there wasn't food they would have to migrate but this zoo has limitless food for the pandas. If the pandas wanted to leave they would show it. They are safer here, away from the poachers.

I think many of you are missing the point. Reasons on why it was funny 1 - the panda was way too big for the branch, 2 - he gets right back up. If he didnt get up it wouldnt be funny.
