This was mine and my girlfriends first date. I watched it solo, and heard the music...The way Ellie looked after the main character just reminded me so much of how her and I are. The the scene came where Ellie couldnt make it up the hill, and make me think how precious time is with each other.... I went and bought her the biggest bouquet of flowers I could find..."Just because".... :)

I was listening to this song when I heard a 'clang' at my frontgate. I looked out the window and saw my two Korean students, boyfriend and girlfriend, walking hand in hand out on the sidewalk. I kept watching them with this song playing (headphones) and I found myself smiling when they were out of my eyesight.

I love how the beginning of this song just fits <3

I've watched this movie about 6 times now and I still can't get over how flawless the animation is, the musical genius of the soundtrack, and the plot in general - filled with great life messages and comical moments (especially with Russell). An all-round Pixar masterpiece and one which I say is underrated. No doubt I'll be buying this soundtrack from iTunes tonight!

MARRIED LIFE- the main theme to UP, the score that comes every so often in the movie. this is certainly the best peice, being it shows Carl and Ellies entire life in these beautiful four minutes. shows their joy (their jobs) and their sadness(not being able to have a child, which devastates every parent)ultimately ending in complete sadness with ellie dying.

...hard to believe this part has no dialouge, yet i saw every person in the theater crying. :)
