my late mom loved this song. i know the story behind it. in fact it wasn't written to record it was for a friend whoes wife died, and she had asked him to sing at her funeral. but she died young. that is why he wroe this song.
This is an anointed song. Kirk Talley is a very anointed singer/songwriter. A talent like his never goes away. It only comes along once in a great while. God has used him and will continue to use him. God bless you Kirk.
This song was sang by a lady at my grandmothers funeral back in 1996. My grandmother was a Christian woman all her life and she had actually been seeing angels for quiet a while before she passed away. And then the lady out of no where sang this song . . What a blessing it was and still is today.
Kirk is wrapped in the love of Christ. Those who truly know HIM would not condemn Kirk. Kirk is a brave and courageous soul, and I support him with love and prayers, and deep gratitude for his sharing of his gift, and for his honesty before God.
God was happy with Kirk's wonderful ministry. Hearts were being won, souls were being saved until the Christians decided to judge and took this wonderful Christian man away from us. Nice going Christians. You managed to really mess up God's work again.
@monkbilliardacademy No one can take Kirk from the hollow of the hand of the Lord, his haven is safe. He has gone through terrible trials and remains a Christian, devoted to his ministry. Nothing can separate him from the love of God (Romans 8:28). Those who attack Kirk have their own issues, and are more in danger of losing their soul than Kirk will ever be. I so deeply admire Kirk Talley, because he has had to endure so much, and he has borne it with true grace. God Bless him.
Think I will sing this song in church one of these days love the lyrics to this beautiful song it makes me feel the spirit of God so much thanks for singing it lovely song it truly is
the BIBLE says that GOD turns homosexuals over to a reprobate mind Romans ch.1 if he does'nt get saved singing all the gospel songs in the world will not get him into Heaven you can't be gay and get into Heaven we are not saved by works!
And who made you God to judge. I read Kirk Talleys story and I have ment him. He said he had struggled with the issues all his life for a longgggggggggggg time , but he never acted on them. He was and is christians enough to call the FBI when someone tried to black mail him. Pray for him instead of judging him. god gave this man the beautiful talent he has for a reason. Let us pray for him and not condem him, that is God's job to judge not ours. I
This was My Mother's favorite gospel song, God rest her soul,. This song was the song we selected as a tribute to her. The words in this as in all your songs are so touching. Thank you so much for all of them. may God continue to bless you and your family.
This was my Aunt Virginias favorite song. She died January 24, 2005 from cancer. She was an angel here on earth. I miss her more and more everyday. They say it gets easier but it dosent. She was my second mom and I miss her more than I have ever missed anyone!!
A few years ago I had breast cancer. Well, God touched me and I am still here, cancer free. This song was a great comfort during a very difficult time, a time when I thought I might not be here now. Thank God for gospel singers and the talent He gave them. So inspirational.
Kirk has wonderful CD's. This song is a favorite along with He Is Here.. To you Kirk, I have read your bio and I pray your life has gotten easier with many blessings. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us.. God Bless you.
This song is so beautiful . Kirk does a great job of singing it. My brother chose this song as one of the songs at our Mothers funeral. The other two songs all thirteen grandchildren sang and one of the grandsons played the music. Thanks so much for posting..
