I know that scientologists have committed many crimes. But if you don't see through all this anti-scientology hype then you're just in for the ride, like all the others. It's a silly belief system, and does more harm than good, I would say. But there are a lot more important serious issues out there. Energy is finite; why not spend it on the important stuff.

Well, people don't have time to protest everything that is reprehensible. So, I wouldn't object at all to the anti-scientology demonstrations of SOME people who have been particularly afflicted by scientology activities. These people have been subjected to particular circumstances that predispose them to protest scientology. But for most people, protesting scietnology is just a distraction, and that should be obvious. Best of luck!

If you think that that's all Scientology is, you are not educated about it. Use Google. Look at xenuDOTnet for example. Read what TIME magazine says about it, etc., etc.

I know that scientologists have committed many crimes. But if you don't see through all this anti-scientology hype then you're just in for the ride, like all the others. It's a silly belief system, and does more harm than good, I would say. But there are a lot more important serious issues out there. Energy is finite; why not spend it on the important stuff.

If you truly understood the other criminal activities that are going on in the world you would realize that scientology's crime are minuscule in comparison. The more you learn about this world the more you realize how crappy (and wonderful) it is, and how scientology is just another form of evil (a very trivial one). I really have investigated scientology and know what sorts of things it has done, but I still don't think it is worth my time (or yours).

Scientologists use the whole "Well there are worse things in the world than Scientology, why don't you protest those" argument all the time.
Sorry, it doesn't wash with me. Just because there are WORSE things to protest against, does that mean we should ignore the crimes of the cult?

Well, people don't have time to protest everything that is reprehensible. So, I wouldn't object at all to the anti-scientology demonstrations of SOME people who have been particularly afflicted by scientology activities. These people have been subjected to particular circumstances that predispose them to protest scientology. But for most people, protesting scietnology is just a distraction, and that should be obvious. Best of luck!

Bugger, that reminds me. There was a rumor going round a while back (March I think) that the Scilons would exploit their kids to gain sympathy, and even to claim that a protester tried to attack one if things ever got a bit rough.

Stu you are a wonderful person. Why are you removing comments from your videos? This is the very thing that we are against, aren't we? Censoring comments that you do not agree with is not in line with the main thrust of the protests at it's inception. Namely, no censorship of opinions and ideas. This is what Scientology does. I respect and admire you but this is troubling. Please rethink your removing of comments from your videos. Keep up the good work.

The only comments I ever delete are from Scientologist trolls who do not debate (the ones who stick their fingers in their ears, and go la-la-la). I also occasionally accidentally delete posts, as the Reply and the Remove links are so close together - and when dexterity is bad...
Also - youtube sometimes screws up, and messages aren't saved.
Is there a message of yours that has gone missing? Or someone elses?

Stu--one suggestion. STOP calling it a "church." A church is a Christian place of worship (a jewish house is a synagogue or temple, a muslim place is a mosque or masjid etc). Call it their centre or org. Which is more accurate.
But otherwise, this is OUTSTANDING work!

We try to call it the organisation that calls itself the church of scientology, but it is a mouthful. Most of our signs use the word CULT and we have a lot of signs that say CULT WATCH, indeed our business cards with a number to call says we are CULT WATCH.

Heh. We actually don't toke up much until after the raids. ;) Mostly we got a lot of positive results from telling people to "get the story from both sides", and encouraging them to take the stress tests and make up their own minds. Works every time.
