One tip on that foil insulating you put on the inside of your cold frame walls: Seal the edges so water does not penetrate it. Once water penetrates the polyiso board, it loses its insulation value and falls apart. A better choice might be to use 1/2" Dow styrofoam. It has closed cells and you do not have to seal the edges. It will last much longer. Not sure if it is available in foil-faced. Its the blue board stuff, not the white, polystyrene. Polystyrene hardly has any R-value & is worthless.
