The boss battle with him is mildly hard, but Marx Soul sucked as a final boss. His music suits him, but I don't like it much either. Not as epic as it should be. Galacta Knight is way better in every way. And I don't even like pink! This includes hot pink, yes. All around, Galacta Knight should have been the final boss.. or maybe a fusion with Marx. So that Galacta Knight has those nice-looking wings instead of Marx Soul.

It would have been more intimidating.

@juan5557903 I have to concur. The music, the scrolling backgrounds, and the ability to switch to whatever ability you'd like really gives it taste. Plus, Marx has a deadly arsenal of attacks.

They took it one notch higher with Marx Soul, though. It added challenge and a very creepy vibe.

Personally, I used Plasma to deal with the original Marx, but all I had available when I faced Soul Marx was Rock. And hey, I won, so I guess it's not so bad.

Marx and Marx soul have the same battle theme, I know, when you beat an area of kssu, in soundtrack you get all the new song/sound effects in that part, upon beating the true arena, I listened to all the new songs (there are about 5 I think) I listened to them all, there was no new marx theme remix, which disappointed me very much, I could see a great chance there they didn't use.

ok, here's a main roundup of where each Marx song is used

The first one in this video Marx's theme from the SNES

the 2nd one is from Brawl (don't make the easy mistake and think it plays during Marx Soul, it doesn't)

and believe it or not, the DS version is SLIGHTLY different from the SNES version (although very similair unlike the Brawl remix) and is not in this video

Marx and Marx Soul in KSSU both use the same DS version of the song

It's obvious where it plays on the SNES
