Slipknot is thrash metal and melodic nu metal while mushroomhead is Alternative metal, Industrial metal and Shock rock - hose are two completely different styles. I think when people compare slipknot to Mushroomhead they mean that they wear masks, where at least two are similar to other slipknot masks. :) but this is an awesome band and a great tribute; thanks radley1888

Slipknot was allright for their self-titled and Iowa but mushroom still tromps them. Slipknot was formed specifically for that RR deal. They are a fake band, formed for an easy deal. they knew they could make money. Shaun Crahan is now the only original member. Mushroom turned it down cus they wanted to stay where they were. If a band that turns down a big deal is just as big as a band (that is exactly like them) that accepted that same deal, that says something.
