  • Hey Blake, you had Holly making the bed that you and Ross fucked in behind her back.

What kind of daughter does that?

  • Now this is the Guiding Light that I loved! It doesn't get much better than this war between Blake and Ross and Roger and Holly. Great stuff. Thank you so much for posting these. (You wouldn't happen to have the Thanksgiving they all spent together a few years later would you? The one were Blake is cooking? I'd love to see all that bantering again.)

  • I never really paid attention to the political side of the story (since that was just background IMO), but I was surprised to hear Ross say one of his goals was a bi-partisan effort to finally get a national health care program in place. Ironic how this scene could be playing in today's world.

  • I had this thought as well while listening to this clip! Eerie how relevant it is.

  • It is so amazing how much Holly and Blake don't get along here, considering that they were so close later on. I don't remember how this animosity ended between Holly and Blake.

  • It was about a year long healing process. There was no big moment where their relationship changed, but Holly and Blake eventually reconnected by August or September 1993. I specifically remember a scene at the diner where Holly told Blake that she really has loved her all this time and it was her pain and anger that made her say she never loved Blake. From then on, Holly and Blake were mostly close, but still dysfunctional in their own way.
