hey i have followed every step properly but still its not working .. its showing

"device media is write protected" actually it has an autorun virus in it.. i have tried to remove it by some autorun removal software but that dint work .. do u know how to make it format or how to remove the autorun :(

may i ask you how it is possible you can FREELY download the boot files for windows 98? is it legal since it's so old or something? and is it virus free???

i tried it also but its not working all process was don but when i restart my PC for booting from USB its not working. i also chand First boot Device from USB or Removeable device. plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz tell me the soloution

My USB uses IOCELL NETDISK , what do I do because it says to "insert disk drive to removable disk (F:)" . I had a lot of files in there and it suddenly went gone !!

I tries this exactly as shown and I got a blank, formatted USB disk (no files whatsoever). That can't be right can it? I thought it would have the boot files on it.

ok so lets say i just got win7 ultimate x64 from a freind but i was sorta careless and it broke the cd so i got a copy but in pc iso file form and i build a new pc and i basicly burn it to the flash drive like this video i can use it to boot windows 7 on a none formated drive all new pc with no OS

Why does the tool always think the USB drive is F:\ (in my case, windows has assign L:, yet the HP tool says F:\

What happens if you have a hard drive on F:\ ?

apparently the usb will be uselles as it will probably not be to be formated so that it can be used.. so just use a cd or a dvd..

thanks for the USB booting clarifying. i've been trying to make a boot disk forever and the assholes on bart's boot disk and etc make it look like a freaking nightmare. very simple thing. you're a life save

i have downloaded this format menu and am going to buy a external hard drive right! So heres the question i have for the ps3 to recognize the external hard drive i know the file sytem has to be set at fat 32 but what does the volume and device colums for what do i input in them i think once the drive is plugged in the usb thats the device cloum but what is the volume slot for?

i don't think mine will boot usb i tried butt it won't relieve it being bootable
