@perlik1990@mokacode In the beginning it´s a tango (Pepa Flores); Then there's the seguidille (from the opera, what Gades listens) transformed into a bulería (when Paco plays and Cristina and Gades dance).
What superbe dancers! And Paco is an amazing blue collar guitarist! But man, these Castillians speak Spanish like they don't care who the frik understands them. "Mas" in their buttery tongues becomes "ma". Why do Castillians have to swallow all their vowels? But man, that chick Saura is dancing with has a wicked bod and I still get wood when I watch this scene!
Hi Fanfardon... In some areas of Spain, specially in the south they "cut" some words. But that also happens with English: just listen to a Londoner, an Irish, Scottish or American, and you will also find differences and some of them will be harder to understand, being the same language.
There, and that is all the frikken Spanish you will get out of me except for es un hombre bajo y nervioso con largas patillas.
I think I understood what you meant... Sometimes some people do not do the effort to speak correctly, and can be difficult to understand for foreigners... but that happens everywhere in every country. I work with English spoken people from different countries, and man, sometimes it's hard to understand all...
Anyway, this is a video about how well someone can play the guitar, dancing and singing flamenco. We just have to enjoy it forgeting stereotypes. Cheers.
What an amazing film. I had the chance many years later to pork a woman who looked like the dancer in this vid and she inverted nipples which stood out especially whilst I played Carmen on my HiFi. We both loved this movie and humped each other whilst watching many other scenes. For this I thank Carlos Saura and his whole troupe of minstrels.
Jeeze... I can't believe I'm watching this. I have waited so long to find this piece. Specifically this part where Paco is mimicking the sound & comes up with his creation. So beautiful... it's been in my head for over 10 years. finally i've found it again. I've tried looking for the movie, but never found it. Thank you "you tube."

jaimito25 3 years ago
(I'll copy and paste something I've already posted before)
It´s a seguidilla, called "pres des ramparts de seville" on Bizet's opera, its when Carmen is arrested then D. José lets her escape.
They've changed it into a bulería, that's another flamenco rythm
