@DuckwalkSupreme Lions sleep in the day and hunt at night most of the time, when it's cooler. That's why they are always sleeping in the daytime. And although the females do most of the hunting, the male lions protect the territory and keep intruders out. Lions are amazing animals and should be respected. @froggiemolly Lions are just like big house cats. All the house cats I've ever seen basically lay around all day and only move if they have to. All big cats are majestic creatures, I wasn't taking anything away from that. But, male lions are kinda lazy, unless they have to do something. I've been within about 6 feet of a full grown male lion, they have an amazing presence. And I would never call a lion lazy to his face, lest he understand me and take offense to it.
