This isn't bad, it sounds really good and i love it when i hear the melody's in my ears.
But maybe it is an idea, when you have some other instruments in your house, to try to combine the guitar with some other instruments like Lasse Gjertsen and Soup Injection did.
The second one, i read that you play guitar for 7 years now.
But, i would have expected that you could do some more kind of chords for that much of experience.
I like it, it makes for an interesting video clip. It's not as entertaining as amateur was, but I think that's because yours has a more subtle effect (probably because you looked pretty much the same in each clip).
aight i wont hold this against u if ur a mere beginner guitarist but at least gj on the stop motions, but every clip of sound over the chords started with the root, and any slightly skilled guitarist basically couldve played that whole thing to the note without stop motion, u need somthin a little more complicated. again, no problems, just a lil simple
I've been playing guitar for over 7 years and have been studying music theory for even longer. Honestly I never thought I would see more than a couple hundred views and I'm a bit ashamed I didn't put more time into it. Yes, the lead part is pretty much just sticking to the triads. What can I say...I was lazy.
Man, that was not bad! Keep practicing man, Id love to see another video by you. You seem to have the editing timing down, try banging on some percussion instruments! I like it!
Pretty good. You should try playing the bass string and cutting in some higher picking. Maybe tap a beat on the body of the guitar. That shit would be tight. I dig the acoustic editing though, nice job!
Yeah I was stuck using 30 frames per second. It doesn't divide evenly so some notes were played for 7 frames and some for 8. That's why it sounds a little off at times.
I can definitely do it without the lasse-style. I hadn't even written the song before I recorded it. I just recorded a c-major scale and a handful of chords and composed it while editing it.
cheers man, nice computer improv btw. you can fix up the timing problem in premiere with the speed/duration thing. just make sure u check the maintain audio pitch box
What program did you use to edit this piece? This whole "making music by editing together footage" is a cool concept ... would make a cool websie or podcast ...
love state radio

you could have done a bit better if you've been playing for 7 years but its still better than anything i could do.

Thank god, you were much better than almost all of the other replies. I'm sure a guitar is difficult to do that with. Great Job!

You did well; interesting how editing brought the song out of your random chords. Of all the Lasse tributes, this one is one of the best.
