I've seen the washer machine motor used.......
I like your idea, however, I hate the rod b/c you're going to need to really clean it prior to use. Why not use a pipe?

that's nice, but i think if use sprocket instead of a wheels will be a lot nicer or better... just a suggestion. peace....

First off, thanks for the video.
I have been looking for a nice cideo on spit designs and most use either a screw (worm) gear or belts to drive and gear. This seems so simple.
Can I ask what motor you have used?
What RPM does it spin at?
How much torque does it have?
What are you using to transfwer power from the motor to the first bike wheel?
