  • LOVE that colour combination ! The stance , those wheels and tyres , the super nice engine !

Did the A.I.R. Pump fall-off during the restoration ?

  • man i wish i had one of these toys

  • how much would you sell it for?

  • i like it , a pity that the insurance and petrol in the UK is so expensive on these...

  • Oh my, that rev limiter...

  • a little wheel hop... but that never hurt anyone! looks sounds great!

  • omg the little kid was riding his bike next to the Chevelle lol...

  • atta boy, thats how those like to be drivin. give em a lil dirty talk while warm up and run em hard. i have a real LS6 in my 82 Regal. sounds just like this one, beautiful car man. Kudos!

  • 454 or 396?

  • @Skolcon BIG 454

  • @oexotik damn you dont often see a big 454 anymore

  • @Skolcon Yeah, an LS6 Race ready from the factory, ultra rare

  • OMG a 70 chevelle SS! OMG IT JUST DISSAPEARED IN THE GRASS, I CANT SEE IT, MUST BE CAMOFLOUGE!!! haha well besides my slight dislike of the colour, its a nice car. makes me want to get mine done so bad... i just wish mine had the LS6, then i wouldn't have to change everything over to go big block.

  • WHATEVER YOU DO...DO NOT... I MEAN DO NOT SELL THIS RARE BEAST!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow you rarely see a real ls6 SS..

  • Lol, I'd be like "get that damn bike away from my car!"

  • What ever else it may be it's sure not factory original. Rev limiter? Those mufflers aren't stock either. Beyond that I can hear the solid lifters. I owned an LS-6 in 1970. I'm happy to say that the car was an absolute animal. Camshaft specs : * Same camshaft used with 402/375hp engine * Casting number 3904366 * Part number 3904362 * Mechanical lifter * Intake & Exhaust lift .520" * Intake duration 316 degrees * Exhaust duration 302 degrees Compression was 11:1

  • Beautiful car. Nice paint and nice sound. I also think the torq thrust wheels are a perfect match for this car.

  • That is the NICEST chevelle I have ever seen. Congrats on the build. I'm sure it took you a lot of time and money.. but it sure looks like it was well worth it. I hope to get a chevelle some day. (:

  • holly helll love that solid lifter cam, this video get's my blood pumping, nice job on the car.

  • what is your engine code in the front of the engine beside your passenger side head?

  • If I owned one of these bad ass cars, I would drive it all day and blast Led Zeppelin from the car with the windows down.

  • just out of curiousity???what mpg are ya gettin with that BEASTLY chevelle. That car is pure classic. Wish i still had mine

  • @Jacoby135

Haha! probably somewhere around 3-7 MPGs depending on how heavy your foot is.

  • yeah mine was pretty heavy back then. couldnt keep my foot out of the carbuerator

  • Great car.... great looking shape i see.... i Got a 70 chevelle ss myself but i redid it's candy apple red with the sliver flake in the car and i have white interior i also have a chevy 572 pushing 1300 hp but i like your car too great job on it.

sound fantastic what is your exhaust set up??

  • Large tube Hooker Coated Headers, flow master 40 series... 2.5 tubing

  • No man in his right mind would say that that doesn't sound amazing. Excellent work on the restoration. I wouldn't have the discipline to not drive it. Its a waste to let it sit in your garage.

  • thats a beauty man! I'm looking for a 70 ls6 as well. let me ask ya, how much do you think i can get one with all the correct parts included? basically, one in good condition..

  • An original LS6 in good condition typicaly go for around 70-80K. A clone goes for around 20-30K. Those are just estimates but shouldn't be too far off.

  • thats beautiful man, you are very lucky

  • thank you very much...

  • you honestly dont know how lucky you are.......i envy you...

  • Thank you very much...

  • Wicked car but I'd be dumping "that rev limter " cuz it sure is killing the effect! If you are afraid of blowing the engine back off a little & learn some control!

  • car is absolutely sick...thts my dream car

  • Great car, idles nice with a good thump! Is it still cutting out when you nail it or did you get that fixed?

  • Thank you... Well it wasn't cutting out that was the that rev limter that hit lol...!

  • That is one of the nicest/best sounding 7o chevelle i have seen in a long time! although i like the black with white racing stripes better, thats still a sweet car !!! awesome video!

  • Thank you very much...!

  • I'm so glad you put a four gear in. A beautiful car like that with a auto is a waste! just awesome

  • That's one of the nicest '70 LS6 Chevelles I've ever seen.

  • thank you hard work to make it look this good but it was all worht it ....!

  • Super sexy car!! Does anyone know if that is a stock Cam?

  • no it's much bigger than stock...

  • On the second pass, the Cowl Induction really works!!!!

    Awesome!

Nice to hear that "178" cam rocking!
