I climbed all 3 of Giza in 2006. Yes, it is a bloody long way. But the singular achievement of climbing one of the worlds most challenging and wondrous pieces of architecture is something else entirely.
My girlfriend and I spent $275 bribing the guards on 3 sides, and climbed the middle side. Took about 4 hours and we are reasonably fit. Better be surefooted, the protective limestone has eroded and it crumbles. rock climbing equipment and a camelbak = must.
