  • the BCS needs to add 2 more rules.

    1. Undefeated teams keep playing until somebody beats them

    2. NO rematches.

  • bcs is better than a stupid playoff system. a playoff system ruins rivalries and regular season and bowl games fuck all of u who think a playoff system is good

  • @Hawkeyesownyou1 how the fuck does a playoff system ruin rivalries when rivalries are mostly done in regular season u fucktard bcs has become nothing more than ncaa practically giving sec the national title every year

  • @FRArognetwork so u wanna six loss team to win the nc every year?

  • @Hawkeyesownyou1 i didnt say that but national championships shouldnt be decided on whos more popular it should be who won this and that game and earned it its the only division of football with no playoffs makes no sense

  • @FRArognetwork i do think there should be a 4 team playoff because i want every single game to matter and i love cfb. my playoff is simple the top 4 teams in the bcs standings go to the playoffs.

  • @Hawkeyesownyou1 playoffs dont need to be simple but they need to make sense like nfl playoffs ....i love college football.....for the actual rival games thats almost it ......ppl say its the best football but they play fewer games than any division or company of football and the best team is never decided each year......well the best team in the sec is decided thats about it

  • The only system that would work is a 8 team playoff system. NOT a 16 team, just 8. NO automatic bids, the best 8 teams whoever they may be.

Who the hell cares about SC vs Clemson, or USC vs ND if the winner has no shot at the title.

8 teams three weeks; fans will show up, because it would freaking awesome. Plus the TV ratings would be through the roof.

Their is absolutely no good why their isn't a playoff system in D1 football, about 80% of fans would love a playoff. CASE CLOSED

  • All you numb sculls and neanderthals who think the BCS is better than a playoff should have an embargo placed on your neighborhood. You dishonor your family and all who associate with you for actually believing that the BCS is better than a playoff.

  • with out non con games rivalrys like UGA vs GT, USC vs ND, South Carolina vs Clemson, FSU vs UF,UF vs Miami all go out the window (an those are just the rivalrys i could think off from the top of my head)...that would never happen sry

  • Sorry, The Sun Belt and MAC Conference Champions should not recieve an automatic bid. They are just not good enough. They do not draw money. I doubt fans would like seeing North Texas ranked at 46 be taken over a 16th ranked LSU or Texas. Plus,16 teams is WAY too many. I could live with 8, but prefer four teams. Plus add into the fact that where do you play all these games? They all can't be at neutral sites. That's asking fans too much in today's economy.

  • The real deal is a jackass. Anyone who fights a playoff system is a loser.

  • nothing personal brad, but i,d rather be a liberal jackass who voted for obama and don't believe in oranized religion than a conservative LDS member who nearly killed america by voting that pig in high heels sarah palin and her love muffin john mccain into office. now that my people, the democrats have the country back, maybe our goverment will bring into power the next harvey milk. go liberal's, screw the conservative bible thumpers. USA USA USA. hey brad, remember missouri 1838.august 6,1838

  • bottom line is this, leave well enough alone. the small schools don't have a chance to begin with and quite frankly, i don't see why they have the MAC or the WAC as D-1 when they should be D-1AA. it should be BCS conferences only. it should be a 65 team field instead of a 119 team field. not to mention, too many bowl games, 32 bowl games should be cut down to 15 bowls. also, the non-BCS schools can't recruit and can't fund a national championship level team because they don't have the resources

  • did you watch the sugar bowl between utah and alabama today?

  • no, because i don't get local channels, honest to god i don't. but, i have had some time to think, why is it in this society, do we have to have it one way or another, why can't both parties be happy, 50% don't want a playoff, 50% do. i have the perfect solution. but it would take a while to explain, but bear with me people, please.

  • we add 4 teams (boise, hawaii, fresno and nevada) to the mountain west and make them a BCS conference, we also make C-USA a BCS conference, we also add 3 teams to the big east (army, navy, notre dame). now that every BCS conference have 12 teams, i would eliminate the at-large bid because that's a cheap way for conferences to get 2 teams into the BCS. we have 8 conference champions, we have them play, the best two out of the four major bowl games then play a plus one game, thus crowning a champ.

  • bcs= BULL CRAP SYSTEM

  • totally agreed the playoffs would give teams like boise state and Utah a chance to be a real cinderella team

  • lol, that's is where your wrong. boy, does ESPN fool you, lol. listen to what your saying, the title that college football teams play for is the BCS championship. which means BCS conference teams only. last i checked, the wac and mountain west are not BCS conferences. that's like having a CFL team compete in the super bowl. two different leagues. if boise state want to join or create a BCS conference, why don't boise, fresno, hawaii and a forth wac team leave the wac and join the mountain west?

  • remember, a BCS conference must have 12 teams. i think two conferences should join the BCS, the mountain west (with 12 teams) and C-USA. therefor, there would be eight teams, since their would be eight BCS bids, one bid per conference champion. now, a playoff would kill college football because it's media and money driven. because you have it in your mind the NCAA will allow all teams when most have failed to read the label, it says BCS championship, not national championship, on it.

  • now, if you brought in a playoff, it would do more harm that good given the fact that the two so called "at large bids" in a eight team playoff would go to two big conference teams, for a example, ball state and boise state may be undefeated, but would still get overlooked by voters because a team like texas, florida or oregon state would recieve the at-large bids because they are in more powerful conferences that the cinderellas. so you are not geting what you want either way.

  • Naw The bowls games are where its at man... it makes the regular season important
