I honestly see Tyr as being something far greater than a Viking Metal band compared to Ensiferum. Tyr mix a nice variety of genres and put some real effort into the structure and lyrics of their songs. They are a top quality band.

Shouldn't you rather compare Týr to a band that is more in the same genre? because Ensiferum is more Folk metal than Viking metal... I like both bands, don't get me wrong, but comparing with Ensiferum is going a bit too far imo.

In Faroese, Tyr is pronounced as Too-ige (like 2, then a sound that is like saying IS with a G at the end.. weird sound)
