Its an American football league-helmets, shoulder pads, etc. Every year some Americans fly over to play there because its the biggest American football league in Europe. They make at most $1000 per month, probably less.

The Bundesliga is their main soccer competition, which is a much bigger deal. Average salaries are close to $1 million there.
