Hi, very nice set up. This will be my first year. I have feeder gold fish (I am in Canada do not want sensitive fish!) and a half lb of worms. I will have to build the fish tank and beds best I can (budget!) Your grow beds seem to be filled with crushed gravel. Is that correct? How do you like it. Other than it being heavy I think it should work out ok. I look forward to your next video.
@brendahodgins The rocks were sifted not crushed. They aren't as sharp as crushed would be. And yes they do work fine. I can plant seeds directly in the beds.
I wish I had spent the money and bought "Poly Keder" from a Canadian company in the first place. It is January with temperatures near 0 and things are still growing in the dome.
That is proving to be a problem. I first used 6 ml contractors plastic which wasn't clear enough to let acquitted light through then I cut triangles for the south facing side, and bubble wrap on the inside. which worked fine, but with snow and ice I broke a couple trying to remove the the snow for it is very brittle when frozen. I put 1/2 inch sheets of reflective covered foam from Lows on the north side.
Good to see your 2nd post. Looks like you had a good season growing. Could you cover the aquaponic system a bit more in another video? Tank size/volume and number of fish. How often it cycles etc. I have an old conservatory that will become my greenhouse some time soon. Your info would be good for reference. Ta.

@garystiles Thank you for your quick response. I will go with that medium too then. It is free!
