Sinister is right. It's made with Game Maker, completely from scratch, coded ripped and created by these fellows. They got the closest there has been to the Sonic Loop system since Kitsune used to exist.
All they needed to do was spend more time with the collisions. ;D
oh, and i guess you could do better? this is made from a game creator, its not a hack. it was actually hard to MAKE. so dont start with me that this is crap.
I could. I just can't program worth shit. It takes a certain person to be a level designer. This looks like a lot of the poorly rearranged levels from all the sonic hacks I've played.
damn nigga can you even fuckin make games? yknow right now on my game im more concerned with my storyline and making it fun over level design and if you have a problem with it i dont even care so hush your ass
Thats cuz it is...Its the first game I ever published to the web...and its decent but nothing compared to what sega has. As for the level design you guys are arguing about...looking back, no, it was just a random assembly of platforming, loops, items and badnicks. This doesn't make it a bad FANGAME tho.

Not bad! it looks like its shaping nicely! There's obviously some improvements to be done here but its definatly a good start! The only thing i would say to change(not being picky....) would be to cange the name of the game, sonic returning to angel island just sounds a bit plain.... but then again its probaly just me
could you tell me how you did that because im makeing a sonic game and on gravity and stuff like that i cant make it work and the spindash thing

your level design skills and background editing are crap. Things look out of place, poorly edited, etc. A lot of it doesn't make sense graphically.
