The Finns are masters of metal. Their language is so amazing, and just sounds great in music. Words can't describe how great Finland is, especially with music. I hope to see these guys in America some day, or even better, in Finland. =]

@Ellinarkkari you are right about the drummer but what do you want from tge vocal? It's good, I would even say - very good. Catamenia is top class (like many Finnish metal bands, by the way)

It really was not the only reason to kick him out - just gave a push towards to that. He lost his voice as well as you can see from this video from DVD!
I havent been following them and had no idea they kicked him out. I must say though, on CD they sound amazing, but live the vocals lack. Still fucked up crowd :)
I have the DVD and the sound is crap when played in 5.1 mode, once you switch to 2-channels mode you can hear the bass and the blasts! - A bit weird but the DVD itself is amazing.
That's because he needs that kind of attack for Meshuggah, normal bass playing doesn't give you the aggressiveness that a pick can! I'm not saying that playing bass with a pick is wrong or worst, but it is a fact (sorry) that if you use your fingers there is more versatility and ability to create different textures and colors in the music. I prefer fingers, even though picks sound awesome!
And who told you this nonsence??? Many legendary bassists play with a pick... For example Roger Glover from Deep Purple. He plays mostly with a pick and just barely with fingers. And he is considered to be one of the best bassists in rock music ever....
Pardon???? Have you ever been to a hard rock concert? I guess you haven't. I have seen many rock gigs and it was the height of virtuosity. If there was no hard rock, there would never be metal.... Many hard rock musicians are unforgetable legends, such as Jimmy Page, Ritchie Blackmore, Brian May, Cozy Powell and many others...

They came to montreal Canada last summer and it was the first show the singer was not there.
One of my friends organised the show.
He was with the band a day before in a bar.
Thing is, they were touring Europe then fly to Montreal.
Singer said, I will catch up with you guys after going to Paris.
The other members when to Montreal Canada.
The day before the show when they were at the bar in Montreal, singer called saying that he wont fly to Montreal.
